Drivers fleeing and business plummeting for Metro Vancouver taxi industry, association says
Ninety per cent of drivers have left the industry, and ridership is down 70 per cent, according to the Vancouver Taxi Association. Drivers say the pandemic, coupled with ride-hailing services, have decimated business.
