The small far-north Queensland town of Mareeba has erupted into a series of protests following the death of Indigenous man Aubrey Donahue at the hands of Queensland police.
Officers were called to a home in Mareeba, 65km west of Cairns, at around 11.30 on Saturday morning after receiving reports of a domestic violence incident and threats of self-harm.
