New Dynamiq superyacht range | SuperYacht Times

Written by 10 June 2021 | 15:30 (UTC) The yacht builder Dynamiq has unveiled a new range of superyachts, with three exclusive lines, the Gran Turismo Transatlantic (GTT), Global series and the GTM 90 sports line. The GTT yachts are aluminium built, with large open decks, and an impressive cruising speed of 20 knots. The yachts lines are based on the round bilge Fast Displacement Hull design, pioneered by Dutch architect Van Oossanen, designed to ensure stability and performance. The Global series are steel hulled with a large interior volume and long range when cruising, with a low fuel consumption. Like the GTT, they are also designed around the Fast Displacement Hull design, and hybrid power plants are also available for every vessel in the range.

Alia Yachts Launches 36m Support Ship PHI Phantom

By George Bains 04 May 2021 A new, ‘mould-breaking’ support ship PHI Phantom has been launched by Alia Yachts. Part of the Phi Project, PHI Phantom features a striking in-house design with exterior styling by Cor D Rover and naval architecture by Van Oossanen. This sleek, muscular new support ship has been built to cross oceans carrying the tenders and toys that the mothership has no garage to stow. The combination of Alia Yachts’ metalworking skills, striking design by Cor D Rover, and naval architecture by Van Oossanen has culminated in an exciting and all-action addition to the waters. Phantom is destined to support the custom superyacht PHI by Royal Huisman, and reflects many elements of the mothership’s design.

Pictured: The moment a new superyacht is VERY carefully manoeuvred along narrow Dutch canals

Advertisement The incredible sight of a brand-new 310ft- (94m) long superyacht being very carefully transported through tiny quaint villages in Holland before entering the North Sea for pre-delivery trials has been captured in a set of mesmerising pictures. Photographer and videographer Tom van Oossanen followed the vessel, called Viva, as she was guided for three days last week along narrow canals and rivers, with her eye-catching 88ft- (27m) high frame towering over houses, church spires and windmills. Viva, built by Feadship, spans 44ft (13.4m) from port to starboard and some of the sections she squeezed through were only 46ft (14m) wide. Van Oossanen told MailOnline Travel that moving her was a very delicate operation .
