Sunday a delayed front will put us back in the 50s, and were going to slip back into the 40s through most of next week. We are looking dry through the weekend and even through most of next week. The suspect ran from the scene shortly after the shooting. And theres no word if police have made any arrests at this point. The victim was shot in the arm and is expected to be ok. But police say calls for service arent true indicators of crime rates. The council is applying for a 4 point 6 Million Dollar grant from the revitalize iowas sound economy, or rise, program. The money would be spent on signs and other street work recommended in a traffic study of the area where the seaboard triumph plant will be built. Good news the iowa dot plans to shift the traffic to the newly rebuilt southbound lanes starting tomorrow morning. The process is expected to happen gradually throughout the week.
