Prosecutors claim reed was the getaway driver in the new years eve laptop theft that claimed the life of an engineer that tried to get his laptop back. He had nothing to do with any of this. Reporter Oakland Police say reed was the getaway driver for javon lee. Police say he burst into the starbucks monday morning and snatched the laptop. Witnesses say he tried to get to the car and was dragged on his 31st birthday. This is not a mistake my brother would not make. Reporter Court Documents show that both men are convicted robbers, stemming from two cases in San Francisco.
