CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Armed Services YMCA of Fort Campbell is looking towards a classic car show later this month in attempts to reach its annual fundraising goal.
The ASYMCA supports junior enlisted military members – E5 and below – by providing programming for soldiers and their families. They look to enhance their lives in spirit, mind and body with programs relevant to military life.
It will be the first car show ever done by the organization as they aim to reach their mark of $50,000.
“Often our focus is on the military child who greatly feels the impact of military life by way of deployed parents, distance from family and friends, and the difficulties associated with moving to new duty locations,” said Lindsey White, executive director of the ASYMCA, in a release. “Another impact specifically to the junior enlisted soldiers and their families is on access
