An agenda for the meeting said the board will consider hiring Christopher Sefcheck for a five-year term beginning July 1. His starting salary would be $135,000.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the board room at Valley Junior-Senior High School. People can attend in person or watch using the online Zoom platform.
Sefcheck, 52, of South Park, has been superintendent for the past three years at Bethlehem Center School District in Washington County.
“I am here to work with (residents) to do the best thing for our kids in the district,” Sefcheck said by phone prior to the meeting.
