For this Christmas season, Tennessee Valley Brewing Company is celebrating a few of its favorite things: “Beer at the church and ugly sweaters, / New-flavored brews, / It just keeps getting better. / A fun, hop-ping party /As New Years they ring. / These are a few of their favorite things!”
Eric and Wendy Brannstrom, the husband and wife owners of Tennessee Valley Brewing Company (TVBC), stopped in to talk about all their favorite December things with Samantha Knight, Z97.5 afternoon host, for “I’d Tap That,” a 13-week radio series that explores the local craft beer brewery scene.
They brought four beers for Knight to taste as she wrapped up the series: The Eagle (named in honor of the Screaming Eagles), a double IPA called Passion Fruit, a Veteran’s Day-inspired beer called 11.11.11. and a temperature-controlled beer called Smokey and the Braggot (a nod to law enforcement), which has chocolate and honey notes.
