Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was taken to a hospital in Moscow after meeting his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Newsweek reported citing the Belarusian opposition leader.
Lukashenko's rival Valery Tsepkalo said the Belarusian President was “urgently transported to Moscow's Central Clinical Hospital after his closed-door meeting with Putin". He is in critical condition and his health is being monitored by top specialists.
Lukashenko's statement comes days after Russia and Belarus signed a deal formalizing the deployment of Moscow’s tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus
