Sheriff s deputies, local firefighters, and Maine State Police were called to the crash at 10:21 a.m. Although initial reports indicated the driver was trapped in the vehicle, she was able to free herself, Joyce said in a release.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Ricker Road around 10:20 a.m. Monday. The female driver was trapped after the vehicle rolled over, but she was able to free herself. The trailer was carrying about 9,000 gallons of LP Fuel, but didn’t rupture or leak. The road was expected to be closed for several hours while fuel was removed and the trailer was turned back over. The driver, Valerie Farnham of New Hampshire, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
