The attorneys wrapped up 12 and a half hours of closing arguments. Annie andersen spent the day in court and joins us now with the latest on this, annie. Reporter the kidnapping and murder of kevin quick may have man with led the government to investigate the six people on trial. Those are not the only charges that the jury will have to decide on. Four of the six people are charged with usecharged with using a gun to kidnap and kill quick and Violent Crimes in aid of racketeering or vicar. They make up twothirds of the 34 charges that the jury has to decide. Other third are a federal charge. But the main umbrella charge in this whole case is racketeering conspiracy. That is the charge that in closing arguments the attorneys really went against because if the jury doesnt find the six guilty on those counts, the robbery charges will go away because racketeering must be involved in those charges. Voter turnout during the primaries, but this is the first year the democrats and republicans have held their primaries the same day in a president ial election since 2008. Today many of the voting site supervisors were picking up their machines as they prepare for tomorrow. Virginia is one of the fool states that does not require you to register as a republican or democrat, but still you can only cast your ballot in one of those races. When you enter your voting site tomorrow, you will be asked which race you want to vote in. The danville registrarthe danville registrar says hard to predict voter turnout and is hopeand is hoping to get a third of the 27,000 registered voters. We just have a single republican primary in 2012 the president. Less than a 2 turnout for the whole city.
