TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) With 20 decorated cars and a bicycle leading the way, staff and teachers from Meadows Elementary School became Santa s little helpers as they paraded through their district neighborhoods.
Staff handed out holiday food bags and treats to students. Santa even made an appearance to help wish boys and girls a Merry Christmas. We just wanted to do something fun for our students. We haven t seen them for a long time and we wanted them to know that they are in our thoughts during the holiday season, Principal Cassandra Cook said.
The hallways of Meadows are usually filled with decorations during the holidays but COVID-19 made changes to those plans.
