EMMETSBURG GRADUATION 2021 EMMETSBURG GRADUATION 2021 After a year of unknowns and uncertainties, the seniors of Emmetsburg High School would graduate Sunday afternoon in a commencement ceremony held in the high school gymnasium. Led by Junior Class Marshals Dominique Biliran and Tyler Stokes, the seniors would take their seats among family and friends gathered all together for one of the first times in a long while. After enjoying a senior class video made by Mrs. Schany and Ms. Herrig, Taylor Steinkamp, Senior Class President and commencement’s Mistress of Ceremonies took the podium to welcome attendees and the Class of 2021. Among the speakers at this year’s ceremony were Salutatorians Cade Jacobson and Kady Traub, and Valedictorian Abbie Schany. The day would also include performances by the high school concert band, as well as “Seasons of Love” sung by the concert choir.
