Wednesday evening Lewiston and Auburn society danced in aid of the CMG Hospital as it has been done for years but with a difference. This year it was quite informal, not a dress suit to be seen, and very few formal evening gowns, altho many pretty frocks were worn. The Charity Ball was just a merry dancing party. Everybody came for a good time and had it. They danced until well past midnight on a floor put in the best condition by Henry Frost and under a canopy of flags and banners to the enticing music of Perry‘s ten-piece orchestra. At intermission they partaked of refreshments and enjoyed the artistic program arranged by the committee.
