WARREN TWP. â The grades K-8 Board of Education said goodbye to three of its members at its last meeting of 2020 held virtually on Monday, Dec. 14.
Outgoing Board President Christian Bellmann and board member Ayanna Taylor are both departing after serving three-year terms. Fellow board member Vaishali Amberkar, who was appointed to fill a vacancy left by former member Susie Chu, served the district for three months after being sworn in in October.
Both Bellmann and Amberkar campaigned for re-election this November â the latter as a write-in candidate â but did not receive enough votes to continue on the board. Taylor did not seek re-election.
