An internal probe by the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has zeroed in on 25 officials, deputed at authority between 2008 and 2012, for allegedly allowing the developer of Express Garden in Vaibhav Khand to carve out 134 additional flats against sanctioned 402.
Government directs GDA to coordinate with NCR Transport Corporation to ensure that the proposed routes for rapid rail from the upcoming airport in Jewar to Ghaziabad don’t fall in the alignment of the Sector 62-Sahibabad metro extension.
Officials said the developer of Express Garden in Vaibhav Khand had carved out 536 flats against the 402 units for which it had taken approval from GDA.
The 5.2-kilometer Metro route will culminate at Sahibabad and merge with the Namo Bharat station across the Link Road, offering commuters a smooth transition.
