clear. they have a history of traveling around the country to places like oregon, where they lead siege on the community of law enforcement, while they stood back and stood by as they engaged in this violence. they have engaged in anti-masking, and anti vax campaigns. anti vaccine protests. and reproductive justice, and access to abortions. demonstrations, and, just this past week, during children story our, they celebrated a pride event in california. they are always noted by their violence and intimidation. they believe in, what do they call it? i am sorry. they believe, and kind of, intimidating the others and getting the other side to engage in violence so they can, then, blame them for their violent habits.
yet again, and the vaccine protests, even donald trump has touted that he got the vaccine for americans and that he thinks that people should get the vaccine. so if donald trump is advocating for vaccinations, that tells you where the republican base overall is. so i do think this anti-vax movement is more of an outlier within the republican party. democrats have just a few months left in control of the house, the senate and the presidency before the midterm races completely dominate the political conversation. they still have many options, for how they can address voting rights and social infrastructure and other issues via small-scale legislation or executive orders. what should their top priorities be? i mean, quite honestly, just getting through small pieces, a claim of victory on voting
fox news. but the network s hosts seem to feel quite differently these days, at least when it comes to canada s vaccine protests. watch this. nobody joined the protest because they re, quote, tired of covid. they re tired of tyranny. for two weeks now, canada has seen what happens to a supposedly free people when they re pushed to the brink. they re going to, what, take the rigs, their livelihoods away from them? fine them $100,000 each? they re going to put them in jail for a year? to me, the answer is obvious. restore freedom, leave the heroes of the pandemic alone. by the way, the people that are losing out on their livelihoods are the folks on the other side of the border here in the united states, some of the car factories. many folks watching fox news. a very tune from what we heard a year ago when the same hosts derided black lives matter demonstrations as thugs and rioters. the question is how do we explain this pivot. with me now to help answer those
