The province also announced a single-day record of 13,651 vaccine doses administered on Saturday, May 8. The proposed schedule is set to continue lowering in three-year age increments every two days until May 18, when all residents aged 16 or older will become eligible. Eligibility will be lowered to 12 and up on May 20. Currently, no vaccines are approved for use in children under the age of 12.

The resident in the under 19 age group passed away in February but was only added to the totals Tuesday after an investigation was completed into their cause of death. The other death reported Tuesday was a resident in their 70s from the Far North West. The two deaths were in addition to 189 new cases and 2,515 tests reported Tuesday. An additional 291 people recovered.

When that age opened up however there was high demand for appointments when my age group was eligible so I waited over a week to attempt to book online. So on Sunday, April 25 I decided at random after seeing people I know had already been vaccinated in Prince Albert to attempt to book online. The process was relatively quick at around 10 minutes with only a health card number and location needed.
