WINONA, Minn. (KWNO)-Winona Health and Winona County Health and Human Services are preparing to get more shots in arms this week.
Winona Health will hold their next COVID-19 vaccine clinic for first shots on Thursday. Appointments are available from 12-4 p.m. and walk-ins are welcome anytime between noon and 6 p.m.
President and CEO Rachelle Schultz said Winona Health has plenty of vaccine doses available. She says anyone who wants a shot can come to get one now that 87% of vulnerable Winona County residents completing their vaccine sequence.
Winona County Health and Human Services will administer the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine from 6-7 p.m. at the East End Rec Center. Walk-ins are welcomed but county officials are encouraging pre-registration.

(KWNO)- Winona Health has called off their Friday Walk-in COVID-19 clinic.
They are continuing with an appointment-only clinic today for individuals who were given a scheduled time by Winona Health. Others who have completed the request form will be contacted when more vaccine is available.
Winona Health says the clinic is still on for residents scheduled to receive their second doses.
