The girls volleyball seasons ended for the Vanden and Vacaville High School teams in the second round of the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs on Thursday. Vanden the No. 11 seed in Division 3 was swept by Placer 25-19, 25-15, 25-14. The Vikings finish with a 17-14 record after coming in second place in the Monticello Empire League with a 13-2 record.
