Oi Brasil, the cash-strapped Brazilian operator, has now seen a significant influx of revenue after completing the sale of selected tower infrastructure to Empreendimentos e Participacoes, an affiliate of comms infrastructure group Highline.
Brazilian data centre and digital infrastructure group V.tal has acquired a plot of land in Fortaleza in Ceara, a state in the northeast of the country, for what is expected to be its first hyperscale data centre.
V.tal, an end-to-end digital infrastructure solutions company and owner of the largest neutral fibre optic network in Brazil, and leading technology company Cisco are working together to increase the capacity of V.tal’s multi-tenant fibre-optic neutral network in Brazil.
