Doda, May 16 (Scoop News)- Union Joint Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Central Nodal Officer for Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA)- Catch the Rain (CTR), Angshuman Dey, today virtually chaired a review meeting regarding implementation of the Abhiyan in Doda besides assessing impact and progress on the programme across the district.
Union Joint Secretary had detailed assessment of different vital aspects of the programme besides reviewing financial and physical progress achieved, so far, in the district. He appreciated the efforts of district administration and other stakeholders in effectively implementing the Jal Shakti Abhiyan in the district. He emphasized wide publicity of the Abhiyan through IEC activities for maximum coverage of beneficiaries. He informed the he will be visiting the district in the last week of this month to discuss progress, bottlenecks and issues which need immediate attention of the government to make JSA a grand success.

China issued new rules to strengthen the regulation of institutional sellers of wealth management products, requiring relevant financial institutions to take responsibilities for WMP sales and management, and shatter the assumption that risky investments carry implicit guarantees from the government and banks.
Without permission from financial regulators, non-financial institutions and individuals are not allowed to sell WMPs as agents, according to the interim measures for the administration of sales and management of wealth management companies WMPs, announced by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission on Thursday.
SCV Water To Host Virtual Urban Water Management Plan Workshop
The Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency (SCV Water) is inviting residents to attend a virtual public workshop to discuss the Agencies Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) Update next week.
The workshop is scheduled for Monday, March 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to SCV Water officials.
This UWMP workshop is the third public workshop before the draft plan is made available for public review and comment, according to officials.
Workshop participants are set to learn about how this updated plan assesses long-term water reliability through buildout 2050 and learn about the area’s seismic risk and the mitigation plan to ensure continued water supplies after disruptive and “catastrophic” events, according to officials.
