The government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a subsidy portal to encourage the use of electric vehicles in the state. The portal will allow customers who purchase e-vehicles starting from October 14, 2022, to apply for purchase subsidy incentives as per the conditions laid out under the Uttar Pradesh Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy, 2022.
