Prayagraj: Plastic waste takes years to decompose and harms the environment severely. For years, efforts have been made to recycle plastic to minimise harm and environmental degradation. In a similar attempt, a plant has been constructed in Uttar Pradesh that converts plastic waste to fuel.
The plant was inaugurated on Thursday by Prayagraj mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi in Baswar. The plant will be operated by the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC).
