This morning cal fire crews battling the kincade fire are reporting they did not have to deal with the wind as strong as originally forecast in the high wind advisory has been canceled. Officials say that could lead to better than expected containment numbers this morning once they have a chance to analyze the work ground crews were able to do overnight. The last report shows the fire had burned nearly 119 square miles. It is 50 contained, Holding Steady there. 189 homes and businesses destroyed. Well be at 45 degrees through 7 00 and it warms up quickly. We go up to 75 at 1 00 and eventually into the upper 70s today. A few low 80s on the map so well talk about whats ahead as we go throughout the week coming up. Mike, you have a new crash in the south bay . Thats right. Towards the santa cruz mountains. Were looking at south 17 with a new crashed car and theres only two lanes that travel through the area and its currently blocked. Well track that and the effect on the commute. There are other issues scattered around the bay, not a major concern for most of them but this disabled vehicle has replaced the earlier crash approaching first and spring town.
