Utica Community Fridge offering Christmas Eve lunches
The Utica Community Fridge is working with other local eateries to make food available to those in need on Christmas Eve.

UTICA, N.Y. – The Utica Community Fridge is working with other local eateries to make food available to those in need on Christmas Eve, as many are struggling through the pandemic this holiday season.
Utica Coffee Roasting Company, Baby Cakes by Becca and the Compound are providing soup, sandwiches, pastries and a hot cup of coffee for lunch at the Fridge, located at 1331 Oneida St.
Tables will be set up with the bagged lunches starting at 1 p.m. Food will be available while supplies last.
Christmas Eve food drive set in Utica

The Utica Community Fridge is holding a food drive, beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday, in conjunction with Utica Roasting Coffee, Baby Cakes By Becca, Anna and Sharrone Sofer and employees from the Compound.
The food drive will take place at 1331 Oneida Street in Utica. Tables will be set up with bagged lunches for all who choose to attend, officials said.
Volunteers will provide gloves and masks and ask those who attend to keep social distancing rules.
For anyone interested in donating, organizers are accepting donations on site and through Venmo @utica-communityfridge and Cashapp $uticacommunityfridge.
