UTICA, N.Y. One week ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, members of the Irish-American community gathered outside of Utica City Hall Wednesday to raise the Irish flag, an annual tradition this time of year.
While the usual St. Patrick’s Day Parade won’t take place this month, and other holiday festivities will be celebrated differently because of the pandemic, the flag still flies proudly over the city.
