The families of three victims of the 2012 Baldia factory fire have filed a suit against the factory owners seeking compensation of Rs14.6 million.
The application has been filed by Amna, Rehmat Ali, Ghulam Sarwar in a District West sessions court.

A young woman has filed a contempt of court case against NADRA for not issuing her a B-Form despite being ordered to do so by the court.
The young woman, an orphan, had approached the Sindh High Court seeking an order to issue her a B-Form, an identification document for citizens under the age of 18, so she could take her Intermediate exams.

The Sindh High Court has ordered NADRA to issue B-form to a young woman who is an orphan and can’t meet the authority’s condition of showing her parents’ CNIC.
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi had denied Maham Rehman an admit card for the matriculation exam because she couldnât submit her B-form, an identification document for people under the age of 18.

KARACHI: A local court on Saturday issued notices to the owner of Ali Enterprises, the director-general of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and secretaries of the provincial labour, industries and commerce departments on lawsuits claiming around Rs29.328 million in compensation for legal heirs of two workers, who were killed in the Baldia factory fire incident in 2012.
Over 260 workers perished in the deadly blaze that engulfed the multistorey building of a garments factory in Baldia Town on Sept 11, 2012.
