After weeks of teasing, Hayley Williams has released a new solo album. The 14-track record, titled Petals for Armor , which dropped last May. This isn t really a follow-up to Petals for Armor , the Paramore frontwoman explains. If anything, it s a prequel, or some sort of detour between parts 1 and 2 of Petals . The meaning of the album as a whole is maybe entirely different from diving into each song in particular. The lead-up to the surprise record drop included several mysterious social media posts, as well as Williams sending fans packages of disembodied doll parts. She also drove to one fan s house in particular to drop off a CD including the new song My Limb.
