Three people were arrested in connection with a shooting that left two teenage boys injured on Thanksgiving Day in Pittsburgh's Sheraden neighborhood.
One of two brothers charged in a suspected mid-October shootout in Harrison Township was arrested Monday morning. The U.S. Marshal Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, working with police from Pittsburgh, Tarentum and Allegheny County, arrested Troy Vickers, 30, of Tarentum. A 15-year-old Pittsburgh boy was apprehended by the U.S. Marshal’s Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and the city’s Bureau of Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit on Friday. Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews said the boy, whose name has not been released, was wanted in connection with a shooting around 1:15 p.m.
A Coraopolis man is charged in an Aug. 7 shooting in Pittsburgh’s California-Kirkbride neighborhood that killed a man and injured three others. Andrew Johnson, 25, was taken into custody in West View on an arrest warrant stemming from the shooting, which that occurred at about 9:45 p.m. in the 1700
