U.S. fighter jets from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier conducted airstrikes on three underground storage facilities in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. The strikes were carried out in the Red Sea, targeting facilities used by the Houthi rebels. Witnesses and videos showed strikes and explosions in Sanaa, the Houthi-controlled capital. In response, the Houthis reportedly fired four anti-ship ballistic missiles toward the Red Sea. The U.S. Central Command also reported destroying four unmanned aerial vehicles in Yemen.
