Join us for a special program to honor and remember over 1.2 million American men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. At Miramar National Cemetery, there are over 30,000 veterans and their families interred. While on the hallowed grounds, attendees will be able to visit the Memorial Walkway, POW Liberation Memorial, and Veterans Tribute Tower and Carillon. Several local WWII D-Day Veterans will be in attendance.Speakers include Dr. Gregory A. Daddis, U.S. Army (Ret.), Director of the SDSU Center of War and Society, and Consul General of France Julie Duhaut-Bedos.The ceremony is open to the public, free to attend, and there will be plenty of free parking.When: Sunday, May 26 at 1 p.m.Where: Miramar National Cemetery Amphitheater
