The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have met for urgent talks, with the heads of the world’s wealthiest democracies vowing continued “financial, humanitarian, military, diplomatic and legal support” for Ukraine following Russia’s largest aerial assault against cities since the war began.
The head of NATO calls on Western countries to send more weapons more quickly to help Ukraine regain land taken by Russia, particularly the Crimean peninsula, which has been occupied since 2014.
