The Sandman as the author and Netflix revealed the first casting news for the anticipated live-action TV series, and now Variety has revealed even more news to excite fans as Audible has renewed
The Sandman audio drama for two more seasons.
The Sandman audio drama launched last summer with James McAvoy providing the voice of Dream, the Lord of Dreams after he escapes from a decades long imprisonment. Audible adapted the first three volumes of Gaiman’s comic run with Dirk Maggs writing and directing the season.

According to Variety, Audible has officially renewed their audiobook adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s popular graphic novel series
The Sandman for two more seasons called
The Sandman: Act II and
The Sandman: Act III. The new installments will again be narrated and executive produced by Gaiman with Dirk Magg returning to direct and adapt the audible series. However, it’s still unknown if the first season’s star-studded cast who was led by James McAvoy will also be reprising their roles or not.
