Russian truck market has declined by 7.3% in 2020 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data, 74,780 new trucks have been sold in Russia in 2020.
Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian market, with 37% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 27,768 units, which is 0.6% or 158 units more than the previous year’s figure. The leader is followed by GAZ with 6,820 vehicles (-23.1% year-on-year). The top-three is completed by Scania with 4,924 units (-12.4%). Volvo with 4,486 units (-20.7%) and Ural with 4,067 (+27.3%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling model in 2020, followed by Kamaz 5490 and Gazon Next.
