Groups and individuals intending to fundraise to assist communities affected by STC Yasa need to co-ordinate with their divisional commissioners, says Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima.
Mr Rainima said this would allow for better co-ordination in terms of reaching the affected.
He stressed they intended to see people’s needs were met equally.

More than 1500 homes in the Northern Division were destroyed by super storm Yasa, states an initial damage assessment survey conducted by Government.
Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima said more than 6000 homes were partially damaged during the Category 5 cyclone.
He also said the Northern Division had 80 operational evacuation centres, of which 68 were schools.
Mr Rainima said this was a decrease from the initial 107 centres they had recorded earlier.
“Right now, our focus is the transportation of water and food rations to these affected areas and as of now, we have received 22,000 food ration packs which have been distributed to our evacuation centres,” he said.
