197 infected in new coronavirus outbreaks at 65 schools, says Michigan’s May 3 school outbreak report

The data was collected on Thursday, April 29, and includes preschools and daycares in those buildings
Last week, the state reported 189 infections in new outbreaks at 41 K-12 school districts.
The biggest new outbreaks involves 14 children and staff at Teddy Bear Playhouse preschool in Oakland County’s Commerce Township, and 10 students at Harlan Elementary in Bloomfield Hills.
K-12 school outbreaks were identified in 23 counties. Below are those outbreaks listed by county.

Allegan: Gilkey Elementary School in Plainwell, nine students; West Ward Elementary School in Allegan, two students; Fennville High School, two students.
