Team Philippines Chef de Mission to the Vietnam Southeast Asian Games Ramon Fernandez will be the special solo guest Tuesday in the online edition of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum.
Fernandez, a commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission, is going to talk about the recent snag in the training and preparation of the Philippine contingent to the biennial meet set Nov. 21 to Dec. 2, and where the Filipinos are the reigning, defending overall champion.
The training of the Philippine delegation in a supposed bubble starting on April 15 was recently cancelled after the entire National Capital Region (NCR) and adjoining provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite were put under an Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.

Despite the difficult time, Team Lakay stalwarts Joshua Pacio and Jenelyn Olsim try to remain in shape as they standby and wait for their next fight in ONE Championship.
Of the two, the 25-year-old Pacio has been inactive for more than a year now since retaining his ONE strawweight world title against Alex Silva following a split decision win at the Mall of Asia Arene before the outbreak of the pandemic.
Olsim, 23, meanwhile, was fortunate enough to make her ONE Championship debut just last month in Singapore with a third round submission of Brazilian Maira Mazar, ranked No. 5 in the world.
