Upper Valley blaze consumes home, burns 2-acres of brush
EL PASO, Texas Firefighters were battling an Upper Valley blaze Wednesday evening that consumed a vacant home and was burning brush on a 2-acre lot.
The blaze broke out near Upper Valley Road and Cocula Avenue. Heavy smoke and flames were visible for a quite a distance from the fire scene.
West Valley Fire Department officials said the fire wasn t threatening any other homes at this time and there were no injuries reported.
It wasn t immediately known what ignited the fire.
