Dual carriageway into Worcester to have resurfacing work

ROAD resurfacing teams continue their works across Worcester and the surrounding areas over the coming days and weeks, with resultant diversions for drivers. Towards the end of the month, there are plans in place by Worcestershire County Council to close part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with Haye Lane to its junction with the Blackpole Road slip road; and also to close part of A449 Ombersley Road, from its junction with Bevere Lane to its junction with the Ombersley Road Roundabout. The alternative route for the first closure will take northbound drivers on A449 Worcester Northern Link (slip road), A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road; Southbound motorists must use the A449 Main Road (slip road). A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Ombersley Road, A38 Roman Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Droitwich Road, A4536 Hurst Lane.
