(Sean Moffett/Courtesy photo) Gold Mine April 2021: Pace Solano still helps disabled adults with online programs VACAVILLE Pace, which formerly stood for Positive Approach to Consumer Education, was formed in Vallejo in 1983 by Carolyn Dillard to provide day programs and work services to adults with developmental disabilities. The organization merged with Upper Solano Association for Retarded Citizens in 1989. The group was formed with parents in the Fairfield/Vacaville area to provide much-needed services for their adult children after they left school.
