Hinckley town centre blocked for hours as man injured in motorcycle crash Drivers were warned to avoid the area this morning Hinckley town centre faced long traffic delays this morning when a motorcyclist was knocked down. The collision, involving a motorbike, happened at the junction of Hollycroft, Upper Bond Street and Lower Bond Street and the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said: We were called to Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, just after 6am by the ambulance service who were treating a motorcyclist who was involved in a collision. No other vehicles were involved in the collision, according to the force. A man was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
