Passed away peacefully on 7th May 2021, aged 87 years. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 25th May 2021 but due to the current restrictions it will be a private service. However, those who cannot attend may wish to pause for a while at 10:00 am to remember John. Hinckley town centre blocked for hours as man injured in motorcycle crash
Drivers were warned to avoid the area this morning
Hinckley town centre faced long traffic delays this morning when a motorcyclist was knocked down.
The collision, involving a motorbike, happened at the junction of Hollycroft, Upper Bond Street and Lower Bond Street and the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said: We were called to Upper Bond Street, Hinckley, just after 6am by the ambulance service who were treating a motorcyclist who was involved in a collision.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision, according to the force. A man was treated by East Midlands Ambulance Service for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
