not. that is not just for kim s sake. he wants to make sure whatever agreement they come up with lasts beyond the trump administration. senate republicans and senate democrats very skeptical about this. one thing to watch in particular is this whole thing about withdrawing troops from the peninsula. there is a lot of concern. that will be part of the negotiation. and they are just upset that the president even floated the idea because if there is a power vacuum china steps in and that under cuts the u.s. and speaking of power vacuums, one thing we also see is donald trump cozying up to putin. and americans if you look at who they think the president is besties with, you have vladimir putin, 27% say trump has the best relationship with putin. teresa may comes in at 26%.
but at the point that there are true financial connections between his company and russia or at the point that we can fill in the motivations perhaps for coordinating or cozying up to putin, i.e. building the hotel in moscow, he doesn t have much more to grasp at at that point. so i think that s a big change. i would also posit, i don t know the democrats are going to give trump the gift of trying to impeach him right away. i think the smart thing for democrats to do is subpoena, which nobody has done subpoena his taxes, subpoena his administration. bring those guys in every day and ask them the hard questions. you say it would be a gift? why? because it s because it gives the president the opportunity who, by the way, will be running for re-election, to say all the democrats want to do is rip me out of office. i don t think we should give him that luxury. i think we should hold him accountable for his behavior, hold his administration responsible for how they have pillaged t
face impeachment no matter what comes out of any of these investigations. i think adding digenova is a good idea. i also believe they need to be looking at working the jury. it s unique to the american system that this is an actual the jury, the house of representatives, they can start having a charm offensive and bringing them in and talking to them because i think the more we look at 2018, the midterms, the worse it looks for the republican party. robby? i agree with gloria. i think the major development that happened is the trump organization itself is now under threat. i think that financial risk to the president is what s striking deep. it s also his you think that s what sort of launched the president on this? i do. i think that really triggered something different because up until now he was able to obfuscate with conspiracy theories and so on. but at the point that there are true financial connections between his company and russia or at the point that we can fill i
trademarks. so what s going on here? are they interested in protecting america or are they interested in protecting their own business interests? it seems to be at least the bottom. if one were to look at what russia did, not supposedly did, but did in this election, hack the dnc, hack john podesta, then use that information in the campaign, then this indictment even goes in an additional direction. and what is this administration doing? well, they re cozying up to putin, at the very same time they ought to be hitting back in every way. congressman, should jared kushner recuse himself from any decisions related to national security policy with both china and qatar? i think it goes beyond that. it goes beyond that. this white house, the trump
security service that wants to swing the election one way or another. his second option, say nothing and have the russians come in and say well, if the president of the united states doesn t say anything, and if he said before it was all a ruse, why wouldn t we continue to operate. by the way, as you know, u.s. intelligence agencies say they have continued to operate. he has two options, neither of which are good. i look at the russians, they say i can t believe how successful this is from their perspective. what does it say to you, jeffrey, he has been president now for thirteen months, hasn t spoken out, ordered anything, hasn t done much, if anything, as far as russian meddling in the u.s. democratic system is concerned. no. the one person, the one person he never says a bad word about is vladimir putin. i mean, it is just incredible, and this goes back years. he has not acknowledged any sort of wrongdoing on the part of the russian goflt, and especially on behalf of putin. it r
