Uttar Pradesh RERA: RERA has also directed the promoters to file an affidavit to the effect that the project land is free from encumbrances and to disclose the same if there is any encumbrance on the land of the project.

Since 2019, developers and homebuyers have successfully resolved 1,350 cases through the NCR conciliation forum of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA). This led to dispute-free assets valued at approximately Rs 550 crore.
