Citing its 2022 accomplishment report, the agency directly assisted 255,520 indigents and financially incapacitated individuals under the Medical Assistance Program (MAP) with PHP2.012 billion in assistance last year. "True to our mission of providing responsive assistance to eligible recipients and beneficiaries, the PCSO has helped hundreds of thousands of poor patients deal with costly medical expenses incurred from treatment or confinement," Cua said. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said the latest 13 barangays to be included in the list were declared as drug-cleared last Feb. 9, in a conference conducted by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC).
