UOB Thailand officially opened its new head office in Bangkok on 15 November, reaffirming its long-term commitment to serve customers, employees, business partners and the community in Thailand.
Thai artist Mr Chomrawi Suksom, 28, won the 2022 UOB Southeast Asian Painting of the Year (POY) award for his artwork titled Dystopia. His piece was chosen from among the country winners of the 2022 UOB POY competitions held in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
SINGAPORE: Citigroup said on Tuesday it had completed the sale of its Thailand and Malaysia retail banking businesses to Singapore's United Overseas Bank (UOB) in a transaction expected to result in a regulatory capital benefit of $1 billion.
KUALA LUMPUR: Announcing the completion of its Malaysia and Thailand acquisitions, United Overseas Bank Ltd (UOB) said it is working towards a smooth transition of Citigroup's consumer banking units with a plan for full system integration in 12 to 18 months.
This was one of the key announcements made at its annual Better U Festival, which also saw the launch of its Group Technology and Operations Academy, as well as the rollout of a new set of meeting etiquettes.
