Raids on NGOs, unrecognised parties: The coordinated operations were carried out at over 110 locations in Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and some other states.
Commission further decided that any party aggrieved from this may approach the concerned Chief Electoral Officer/ Election Commission within 30 days of the issue of this order.

NEW DELHI: The number of registered unrecognised political parties has increased two-fold from 2010 to 2019, according to a report by Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), a poll rights group.
