The Chief Minister assailed these leaders for indulging in theatrics to mislead the people of the state. He said that it is a well known fact that the ancestors of these leaders have created obstacles for Punjab and its younger generations by indulging in this unpardonable crime of constructing the SYL.
Sukhbir Badal said that besides the SYL canal issue, CM Mann had a lot to answer for, including kickbacks received for hiring a jet aircraft for Rs 120 crore.
While a Cabinet meeting Thursday discussed in detail the top court's Wednesday order, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reiterated that “not even a single drop” of additional water will be shared with any state even as Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that they will soon decide whatever legal recourse needs to be taken or if any session of the Vidhan Sabha needs to be called.
