Saying if the infection rate in new york state remained low and statewide give or take, it is low, hovering around the 1 mark the schools could open. Governor cuomo previously said if it stayed below 5 they could open if it were to spike up to 9 they would then close down so this is in line with that, what the governor is saying today. The most important part of all of this is what the local jurisdictions decide to do, and the way it played out in new york is that the local superintendents of School Districts around the state submitted their plan by last friday. Now, some didnt get a plan in at all but most did, and most of those superintendents submitted a plan that had some blended approach, meaning that even if School Districts be open to in person learning, students would not be going backtoschool five days a week, in some districts they would, but in most they would not. It be one or two or three days a week, some rotating system that allows the schools to have a smaller presence

Cities tour. Mr. Spicer right now, we are in the revolution exhibit at the Computer History Museum in mountain view, california. Behind me are over 1000 artifacts that tell about the history of computing, going back to thousand years. The exhibit is laid out into 19 galleries, each one focuses on a certain theme or object from the history of computing. For example one of those themes , is realtime control. Here we look at things like pacemakers for hearts. These are Computer Systems that must function. Theyre not like your laptop, which can crash once in a while and the worst is that you lose your work. If a pacemaker crashes, you die. The oldest item is a set of what are called napiers bones, small ivory counting sticks from the 17th century. The most recent thing we have is an iphone, the first model. I will say about the title. That was almost the title for me book. And i was pleased actually when the gang thought it would be a good title for this day. It seems to me the trials of 1692ment as we all know those of us who live and work and hang around salem that there are other trials that are related to the trial. And to some degrees thats what were talking about this afternoon. And our sessions on witch city and keynote speech by professor foot on hill. Just one thought from me before i introduce the panel, and that is that its my sincere hope that the work of the past couple years to recognize the execution site of proctors ledge and hopefully be a new start of fresh beginning for salem to really recognize officially and formally this troubled troubled history.
