The library’s boiler went out and it had to be closed because it’s just too cold in there. I hadn’t been to a city council meeting in years, not since I was a reporter in 2015. Nostalgic, stepping into the room. Like seeing an old friend. I sat down and began to watch and listen to the meeting, what was talked about and who said what. Naturally, I pulled my notebook out and wrote stuff down.
